Early in November, 62 girls and four staff set off on the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award Qualifying Expedition held at Somerset Outdoor Education in Colo.
Conditions were hot with a high fire danger, preventing the group from walking on the ridgeline. The highlight was when the girls walked (or swam) through the river fully clothed, pushing their floating packs in front of them!
All girls successfully completed the challenging, but rewarding experience. Well done!
