- 80th school in the Top 100 Sydney Morning Herald List
- 6th in State in Community and Family Studies
- 23% of students achieved an ATAR above 90
- 8th highest ranked Catholic Independent Girls’ school in NSW
- 53 students appeared on the Distinguished Achievers List.
Emma McDermott and Giorga Belcastro received Call Back nominations for Dance. Giorga was nominated for Core Performance and Emma was nominated for all three of her works: Core Performance, Core Composition and Major Study Performance. Emma has now been selected for perform at Call Back 2018 in Major Study Performance with her work titled "Everything happens for a reason."
Talitha Hanna and Natalie Sarmiento were shortlisted for Art Express. Talitha Hanna's Body of Work, Model for a Civil War, will be exhibited as part of Art Express at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.
Principal Stephen Walsh says the cohort's ourstanding HSC results reflect the growth these young women have made over six years at OLMC: "As the girls' journey continues beyond the gates of the College, out into the world, I encourage them to seek to expand beyond what they know they can be and make a difference in the world, in the spirit of Catherine McAuley."
