At the beginning of May, 131 girls from Years 9 and 10 successfully completed the practice and qualifying hike for the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award at Camp Somerset, Colo.
An International Youth Development Program, participants must learn a skill, improve their physical wellbeing, volunteer in the community and experience a team adventure in a new environment. Enabling young people to explore their full potential and find their purpose and passion, Mercy Girls were amazing in their determination and their ability to overcome challenges.
