Book week was celebrated at the College from the 20-26 August. Numerous activities were held focussing on the theme ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open’. A beautiful Dreaming Zone was set up in the Library for our girls to come and read a book at recess or lunch whilst listening to calm music. Girls made badges at lunchtime, participated in scavenger hunts and competed against each other in quizzes and competitions.
The celebrations culminated at the end of the week with students and staff dressing up as their favourite book/television/Cosplay character. Imaginations ran wild with witches and wizards to Mary Poppins and Where’s Wally. Thanks to our creative Library Staff for making the week so special.
