In addition to the OLMC private bus service continuing from the Northwest of Parramatta in 2024, we will be launching a new bus route into the Greystanes/Merrylands area at the start of next year.

OLMC has a diverse and expansive community of families residing in various areas. The new bus route to Greystanes/Merrylands will enable us to serve a broader demographic of families, making our transportation services more accessible in areas we have found to be most challenging for families.

Registration for both buses will open on Monday, 6 November 2023 at 9.00am and it will be ‘first in, first served’ for all students from Years 7-12, as well as Year 7, 2024 students. The bus fee of $360 per Term (inclusive of GST) will be payable upon registration for Term 1. For Terms 2, 3 and 4, the fee will be added to your Fee Statement which you receive each Term.

We look forward to the launch of this wonderful new service and trust it will be of benefit to many OLMC families.

Last term, Year 12 Hospitality Students visited hospitality venues in the local Parramatta area to speak to industry experts such as chefs, event managers and small business owners. First, we took a guided tour around all of the kitchens of the Parramatta Leagues Club including The Bistro, Jacks Bar & Grill, K’s Noodle Bar, Sterlo’s Sports Bar and the Brewery on the top level. Then we visited Fratelli Pulcinella to learn about the art of making authentic Italian pizzas and running a small business. Shane and the team from Villiers Catering shared their personal career journeys through the hospitality industry and strategies for running a successful business. Dominic, the Food and Beverage Manager from Novotel, organised a dining experience for the girls, a kitchen tour and a tea-tasting session. The students were able to gain real industry examples to help link their learning to current practice and prepare for their HSC examinations. We would like to thank all of the local businesses who welcomed us and supported our students in their learning.

Our Mock Mediation Team, constituting twelve Year 9 and 10 students, has progressed to the Grand Final of the competition to be held at the NSW Law Society on 9 November. The team has shown incredible commitment throughout the year, with the competition starting all the way back in March! This group has truly come together to support each other, taking on feedback to develop their critical thinking and dispute resolution skills from various judges, and we wish the girls luck in the Grand Final.

Opening Hours

The Uniform Shop will be open Monday to Thursday mornings from 8.00am – 9.30am, and Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3.00pm – 4.00pm (school days only).  

Online purchases can be made via the Online Uniform Shop and all orders will be delivered to the Student Centre for collection by students.  

Uniform Fittings 2024

Please note there are separate times and dates for senior and junior fittings. Appointment times will be available from Saturday, 28 October and can be booked by clicking here. 

Senior Uniform Fittings for Year 10 2024, will begin from Saturday, 28 October 2023 until Thursday, 23 November, so please ensure your booking is made between these times.

If you know your size, the senior uniform can also be purchased via the online shop and will be delivered to the student centre for pick up.

Junior Uniform Fittings for Year 7 2024, will begin from Saturday, 25 November 2023 until Saturday, 9 December 2023.

Reminder

The Uniform Shop and the Online Shop will be closed from Monday, 4 December 2023.

All online orders will be taken to the Student Centre for students to collect.

Fees for Term 4 have now been sent to families and were due on Friday, 27 October 2023.  Please note, that as Term 4 mostly relates to co-curricular sports and other activities, there may be many families that have no charges for this term, and therefore, will not have received a Fees Statement.

If your account remains outstanding, please ensure that the Finance Office receives payment promptly.
