To celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day, Mrs Montgomery took learning beyond the walls of the classroom and into the sunshine!
Year 12 Geography students soaked up both the sun and some regional knowledge as they explored the city of Tamworth - all while relaxing on picnic rugs.
Year 9 Marine Studies students got hands-on with transects and quadrats, practising essential fieldwork skills in preparation for their upcoming rock platform excursion.
Year 10 Geography stepped into the outdoors to investigate vegetation transects in action. They'll be heading back indoors next week to apply the same skills using maps.
It was a fantastic day of active, real-world learning, and a reminder of how powerful outdoor education can be!
