Our Marine Studies students had the exciting opportunity to learn, firsthand, about boating safety from Transport for NSW - Maritime Boating Education Officers. The session provided valuable insights into essential boating rules and regulations, ensuring students understand how to stay safe on the water.
A highlight of the visit was the hands-on experience of trying on life jackets, helping students recognise the importance of proper fit and function. They also learned about key safety equipment, navigation rules, and the responsibilities of boaters in NSW waters.
